I am adopting libgdiplus as part of my ongoing work on the Mono stack in Debian.
libgdiplus is a core dependency of System.Drawing in Mono. I am in the process of adopting src:mono, and Antoine Le Gonidec (most recent Mono maintainer) suggested looking into adopting libgdiplus as a natural companion package. I have already begun work: merge request !3 on the Salsa repository https://salsa.debian.org/dotnet-team/libgdiplus/-/merge_requests/3 fixes the debian/rules packaging issues behind #1119466, #1112294, and #1045809, and resolves the vendored googletest compatibility problem (#1135544). I intend to maintain libgdiplus within the dotnet-team namespace. I am working toward Debian Maintainer status and will seek sponsorship for uploads until then. Regards, James
