dbus-glib is a deprecated D-Bus library with some significant design
flaws, and is essentially unmaintained. I would like to minimize its
use, and eventually remove it from Debian, ideally before forky.
inkscape Build-Depends on libdbus-glib-1-dev, but was missed in my
mass-bug-filing about dbus-glib's deprecation, possibly because the B-D
wasn't added until 2017, long after dbus-glib was already dead upstream:
inkscape (0.92.0-1) experimental; urgency=medium

+ Build-dep on libdbus-1-dev and libdbus-glib-1-dev for dbus support.
There is no runtime dependency on dbus-glib (or on libdbus for that
matter), so these two B-D are probably unnecessary and could probably
just be dropped. I'll try to confirm whether this is true later today.
