Package: greaseweazle Version: 1.23+dfsg-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
the following greaseweazle command fails on debian sid: gw convert --format ibm.720 ~/stuff.scp stuff.ibm.img *** TEST/PRE-RELEASE: 1.23+dfsg *** Use these tools ONLY for test and development!! Format ibm.720 Converting c=0-79:h=0-1 -> c=0-79:h=0-1 ** FATAL ERROR: 'bitarray.bitarray' object has no attribute 'itersearch' I see that the package was patched to be compatible with python3-bitarray < 3.0.0 but no restriction on the bitarray version is present in the control file. Therefore, apt happily installs python-bitarray 3.7.2-1+b1 and gw convert ceases to function. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 7.0.4+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages greaseweazle depends on: ii libc6 2.42-16 ii python3 3.13.9-3+b1 ii python3-bitarray 3.7.2-1+b1 ii python3-crcmod 1.7+dfsg-3+b8 ii python3-requests 2.32.5+dfsg-1 ii python3-serial 3.5-2 greaseweazle recommends no packages. greaseweazle suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
