Dear László,
Please considering update protobuf to 3.34.1 in experimental.
I've been working on packaging the latest bazel in Debian. And
I met a compiler error. I think it is related to the protobuf version
that needs to be updated.
Here are the error:
src/main/protobuf/file_invalidation_data.proto: is an editions file,
but code generator --java_out hasn't been updated to support editions yet.
Please ask the owner of this code generator to add support or switch back
to proto2/proto3.
I've added "-experimental_editions" when running protoc, but this doesn't
fix the issue.
I can help with the updates too if you allows me to work on it.
I've also checked bug #1034668 and #1089622. And #1034668 I think it is
already fixed.
