I have recently taken over maintenance of the courier packages. I apologize that nobody responded to your bug report.
Many packages in Debian store their SSL certificates in their own /etc directories. I think this is generally desirable behavior. If you feel that these should be moved to /etc/ssl/certs by default, can you please provide some further information as to why that should be the case? -- Soren Stoutner [email protected]
