Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for hexbox 1.5.0+dfsg-1.1.
This is a minimal NMU for grave bug #1133408 [1]. The 1.5.0+dfsg-1
upload dropped cli-common-dev but left the launcher calling
/usr/bin/cli and both binary packages depending on ${cli:Depends}.
Without cli-common-dev at build time, dh_clideps does not run and
${cli:Depends} expands to nothing, so the installed packages have no
runtime dependency on mono and crash immediately on launch.
The fix replaces the /usr/bin/cli call with /usr/bin/mono and adds
explicit Depends: mono-runtime to both binary packages.
The package is on mentors [2]. A clean sbuild, piuparts, and lintian
all pass.
Worth noting: hexbox is under autoremoval pressure due to this bug,
with a deadline around 2026-05-31.
