Please note that I had already tagged the bug as 'fixed-upstream' (which you no doubt noticed, as you cherry-picked the upstream fix). However, a quick ping via email would have been helpful, as I would have been able to save you the effort of the NMU. A new upstream release is pending within the next 2 weeks and will contain this exact fix.
