Package: linux-image-6.12-amd64
Version: 6.12.88-1
Severity: important
Hello,
After the recent update in Debian 13 (Trixie) to kernel version 6.12.88,
my Bluetooth adapter stopped working completely.
Symptoms:
- The Bluetooth service fails to initialize the hardware.
- Bluetooth management tools (like bluetoothctl) report "No default
controller available".
- Booting back into the older kernel (6.12.86) resolves the issue, and
Bluetooth works perfectly fine there.
This appears to be a regression introduced in the 6.12.88 kernel release
affecting the bluetooth driver subsystem.
System information:
- OS: Debian GNU/Linux 13 (trixie)
- Kernel version: 6.12.88-amd64
Thank you for your help in fixing this regression.
