Hello, the package looks mostly good, but I'm not confident about the upgrade path and the conflict/replaces. My apt wants me to fully remove before I can install the new version, maybe you need some break/replaces? https://wiki.debian.org/PackageTransition
Please double check, conflicts looks an overkill and confuses apt a lot G.
