I wish to package this version of this library.
As we discussed here in the thread, it is a fork.
However, it is maintained, and used in various
project. So far, I found it in 4 project from "anchore"
that I intend to package.

All of the packages below will require a patch if I dont package this lib.
For some, just replacing the lib works.
For others, I have to also implement some features for testing,
or remove tests that use the caching from this lib.

Since the lib homedir lib quite is simple, I dont think it would be an
issue.
I had a chat with Puida too, and he has no problems with it.
Can I proceed? Or would you still prefer I carry the (so far) 4 patches
in the other libs ?
