Package: kexec-tools-udeb Version: 1:2.0.29-2+b2 In the Debian installer for trixie (debian-installer-13-netboot-amd64 20250803+deb13u5, running in qemu-kvm), you can demonstrate the problem by switching to a shell and running:
~ # anna-install kexec-tools-udeb ~ # kexec -v kexec: error while loading shared libraries: libxenctrl.so.4.20: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory >From /var/log/syslog we see it silently skipped over the declared libxenmisc4.20 dependancy as there does not exist a udeb for libxenmisc: May 30 14:12:21 anna-install: Installing kexec-tools-udeb May 30 14:12:21 anna[31045]: DEBUG: resolver (libxenmisc4.20): package doesn't exist (ignored) May 30 14:12:21 anna[31045]: DEBUG: retrieving kexec-tools-udeb 1:2.0.29-2+b2 Thanks for your help, Daniel
