To make a long story short: I mistakenly uploaded the package to unstable instead of experimental. I still cannot upload to unstable the packages currently in experimental. It is important to NOT remove the package in testing because the one in unstable will not work with the version of varnish in testing/experimental.
I will never do a ~really downgrade just for this.Long term: varnish will be removed in favour of vinyl-cache (currently in experimental).
