When I created ITP, I did not see it (it was almost 4 months ago), at that time there was only (*as I remember*) https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-go-redis-redis that's why I created ITP, because the name of the library has changed and the main version has been updated to 9. But now I can use your package, I'm glad to hear it.
