Package: apt-src
Version: 0.25.1
Severity: normal

My $HOME is NFS mounted and doesn't support file locking.
apt-src fails as follows:
$ apt-src install binutils
E: /home/phil/.apt-src//status is locked by another process

It's fine for apt-src to try locking, but can't it be disabled
somehow? Or can't it use a lock in some other filesystem?
