I agree that the unqualified POSIX-compliance wording is inaccurate given that strict conformance isn't the default for historical and backwards compatibility reasons, and given that the "posix" mode is intended to address the existing POSIX gaps. I'll revise the description to drop the compliance assertion in the next next upload. Anuradha
