OK.  Now I figure that it should _also_ work if you
restore /lib/discover/alsa-base.pci-device.xml to its original contents
and add the following line to /etc/modutils/alsa-base

    above snd-emu10k1 snd-emu10k1-synth

Can you please test this?

You can help by writing to [EMAIL PROTECTED] to say "I need this
too".  Maybe that will encourage the maintainer of awesfx to implement
the requested feature.
