Hi Micha,

Thank you for your feedback.

I understand the concern regarding the package name "eSim," especially
given the widespread use of the term for embedded SIM technology in the
mobile and telecommunications domain.

The project has been known as *eSim <https://esim.fossee.in>* for many
years within the electronic design automation (EDA) community and is the
official upstream name used by the project, its website, documentation,
publications, and user community. It originated from the earlier names
"Oscad" and "FreeEDA" and has since been consistently distributed and
referenced as eSim.

Since Debian package names generally follow the upstream project name where
practical, I chose to retain "eSim" to match the established branding and
make it easier for users familiar with the project to locate it.

That said, if Debian developers believe a more descriptive package name
(for example, eSim-EDA or eSim-FOSSEE or eSim-simulator) would better align
with Debian naming conventions and avoid potential confusion, I would be
happy to discuss alternative naming approaches.

Thank you again for reviewing and for your suggestions.

Please let me know.
Thanks & Regards,
Sumanto Kar
