WHAT LED UP/WHAT I DID
I installed Debian testing. I installed ufw. I wrote some default
incoming/allow outgoing rules to ufw, enabled and started ufw with systemctl,
and tried reloading ufw with the rules.
michael@debian-hp:~$ sudo ufw default deny incoming
Default incoming policy changed to 'deny'
(be sure to update your rules accordingly)
michael@debian-hp:~$ sudo ufw default allow outgoing
Default outgoing policy changed to 'allow'
(be sure to update your rules accordingly)
michael@debian-hp:~$ sudo ufw reload
Firewall not enabled (skipping reload)
michael@debian-hp:~$ sudo systemctl status ufw
