Hi, I haven't tested other architectures, so they may be affected as well. I just built igraph from bookworm-backports on riscv64 with pbuilder, asking for "-j1" to be passed to dpkg-buildpackage. The build then started about 2000 parallel processes, leading to a system load of 500. I suspect that some calculation for a "-j" parameter ends up computing an empty string.
