Since version 0.10.0 company-mode bundles two icon sets (light and dark) to show beside the completions strings.
Apparently the latest Debian packaging of it does not include the files.Messages like: Cannot find image file ‘/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/elpa/company-1.0.2/icons/vscode-dark/symbol-method.svg’ [410 times]
