Org-remark lets you highlight and annotate text files, websites (via EWW), EPUB books (via nov.el), and Info documentation using Org mode. The highlights and notes are kept in an Org file as a plain text database. This allows users to easily manage marginal notes and use built-in Org facilities on them (e.g., creating a sparse tree based on the category of the notes). It supports custom highlighter pens with different colors and types. Like org-transclusion, this package is also available on GNU ELPA, meaning it complies with FSF copyright assignment requirements and is highly suitable for inclusion in the Debian repositories. -- OfansifKapital
