How about dropping the Multi-Arch: same field? While it is nice for -dev packages to be coinstallable, in most cases it is not necessary (if you work with minimal build environments). In these cases, it probably is not worth the effort to restructure the package for coinstallability. If a need arises, this can be done later. Helmut
