You could file a removal bug for gnote from ppc64el & i386 if you want. There is one reverse dependency: cairo-dock-tomboy-plug-in . One way to handle that is to add Build-Depends: gnote there and then file a removal bug for cairo-dock-plug-ins for i386 & ppc64el. Because that source package builds multiple binary packages, another way to fix it is to specify the list of architectures that cario-dock-tomboy-plug-in should be built for and file a removal bug for that binary package for architectures where it will no longer be built.
