The crash occured during gating tests when updating to the latest
version of Debian trixie in one of our testing images:

We've seen similiar crashes on Ubuntu as well and are tracking this
issue here:
  - upstream: https://github.com/cockpit-project/bots/issues/6178
  - downstream: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcp/+bug/2060275

The issue seems somewhat uncommon and it doesn't reproduce on retry.

The downstream Ubuntu report, in particular, contains a lot of useful
context. It seems fairly certain that this is the same bug.
