I notice there is a merge request on salsa for the 2026 edition. While testing it I became unsure if pristine-tar is intended to be used with plantuml on salsa or not. There is no debian/gbp.conf enforcing its use, but there is a branch only refering to a very old edition of plantuml.
Andrej, can you clearify what your preferences are regarding pristine-tar? I would like a newer version of plantuml to get portin/portout support in component drawings. With so many people interested in a newer version in Debian, perhaps it can happen in time for Focal. As the git repo is in the debian/ group on salsa, I assume you welcome any Debian developer applying patches and uploading. -- Happy hacking Petter Reinholdtsen
