The `agrep` package was last included in Debian 10 (buster). In more recent releases it has been merged into the `glimpse` package. Your report says that you're using Debian 13 (trixie), so I think the first thing to try would be to install `glimpse` and see if you can still reproduce the same problem there. If you can, then this bug can be reassigned to that package; otherwise, we should most likely close it. Let us know what you find!
