Package: apparmor Severity: wishlist X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]
Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Every time apparmor is reinstalled, it resets my startup settings for named in : /lib/systemd/system/named.service I then remove and purge apparmor from my system and change my settings for named back to ones that work for my system. Please alter apparmor to give the user a choice as to whether apparmor alters settings for other packages on the operating system. This bug might be classified as critical because it affects the usability of other packages, but I guess that's your call. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 7.0.13+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages apparmor depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.92 ii libc6 2.42-17 apparmor recommends no packages.
