It talks to Ecovacs account and device services, including the REST API used for login and device lists, and the MQTT service used for commands and push events. It can also be configured to use a compatible self-hosted service in place of the Ecovacs cloud endpoints. . Supported device data can include battery state, cleaning state, error reports, component lifespan, cleaning statistics, map information, position data, station state, and Wi-Fi details. Supported commands can include starting and stopping cleaning, returning to the charger, selecting cleaning modes, changing water level or volume settings, and resetting component lifespan counters, depending on the device model. This library is a dependancy of Home Assistant, the Python smart home platform. I plan to maintain it as part of the Home Assistant team.
