While in trixie, I was modifying /etc/pam.d/su file (to add TOTP configuration) and I was relying on the fact that /etc/pam.d/su-l was including the former one. However, in Debian testing /etc/pam.d/su-l does not include it, which broke my configuration. I think it would be good if this change is documented in the list of changes in NEWS.Debian so that it is displayed at installation time (if apt-listchanges is installed, of course). -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 7.1.3+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=es_ES.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_ES.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=es_ES:es Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages util-linux depends on: ii libblkid1 2.42.2-1 ii libc6 2.42-17 ii libcap-ng0 0.9.3-1+b1 ii libcrypt1 1:4.5.1-1+b1 ii libmount1 2.42.2-1 ii libpam-modules 1.7.0-8 ii libpam-runtime 1.7.0-8 ii libpam0g 1.7.0-8 ii libselinux1 3.8.1-1 ii libsmartcols1 2.42.2-1 ii libsystemd0 261.1-2 ii libtinfo6 6.6+20260608-2 ii libudev1 261.1-2 ii libuuid1 2.42.2-1 Versions of packages util-linux recommends: ii sensible-utils 0.0.26 Versions of packages util-linux suggests: ii dosfstools 4.2-1.2 ii kbd 2.9.0-1 ii util-linux-extra 2.42.2-1 ii util-linux-locales 2.42.2-1 pn wtmpdb <none> -- Configuration Files: /etc/pam.d/su changed [not included] /etc/pam.d/su-l changed [not included] -- no debconf information
