Trying to follow @[email protected] from @[email protected] I know that my server (shitposter.world) is limited [or something] by the server (mastodon.xyz) so, from past experience, if I try to follow @[email protected], it doesn't actually work [on the server side using any UI] however. this shouldn't happen $ toot follow @[email protected] ✓ You are now following @[email protected] I'm not actually following @[email protected] after this command. It sends a follow request probably but this request is never actually acknowledged and accepted. This message should be something more like "follow request sent, check profile to see if it went through" or something.
