and the build failure on ppc64el is not a bug in curl but on how ppc64el is not treating some IP resolutions as it should (according to RFC6666, this I will forward to the ppc64el mailing list). But it's not a problem in curl itself, just the test.
If so, I suggest you lower the severity of that bug (to have curl migrate), but I suggest you stop triggering that test with your next upload until the ppc64el issue is fixed. I've added ignore hints for the curl autopkgtest to enable migration of the current version in testing, but I leave the bug severity handling to you.
