Package: autopkgtest Version: 6.0 Severity: important The --shell and --shell-fail options used to provide a useful interactive shell with the Incus virtualization server. Since autopkgtest 6.0, they no longer do. For example, `autopkgtest --shell hello -- incus autopkgtest/debian/sid/amd64` gives me:
autopkgtest [16:21:50]: - - - - - - - - - - running shell - - - - - - - - - - bash: cannot set terminal process group (-1): Inappropriate ioctl for device bash: no job control in this shell This is very difficult to work with: for example, neither command-line editing nor full-screen editors work. Reverting https://salsa.debian.org/ci-team/autopkgtest/-/commit/509db28362e7d4e8dd64e4ff1842ad82bd04ebea fixes the problem.
