At the Tor Project, we're using Mirrobits to distribute the Tails binaries, and we've contributed a patch upstream which we'd like to deploy on our systems: Allow Geographical Sorting to be disabled - #225 https://github.com/videolabs/mirrorbits/pull/225 The patch has been merged upstream, but a new version hasn't yet been released. We think that the best scenario would be if upstream released a new version including the patch, followed by a new package upload to Debian, but we acknowledge that that might not be possible in the short term. This bug intends to document such request and discuss alternatives in case the release and packaging cycles will take long. We could, for example, build a patched version and install manually on our systems, or contribute a patched package to Debian via NMU, or something else.
