Dear Maintainer, Upgrading the `qpdf` suite packages (`qpdf`, `libqpdf30`, `libqpdf-dev`) from version 12.3.2-1+b1 to 12.4.0-1 causes critical printing failures when using CUPS. The system logs show multiple, seemingly conflicting errors including filter failure messages and undefined symbol lookups related to the new QPDF library ABI. The printing job fails immediately and consistently. Analysis of the `/var/log/cups/error_log` reveals several critical errors: 1. Primary CUPS Error: printer-state-message="Filter failed" (This indicates that one or more PDF filters are failing to process the document stream.) 2. ABI Compatibility Error (Key Indication): VERSALINK-C415: symbol lookup error: VERSALINK-C415: undefined symbol: _ZNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEE10_M_replaceEmmPKcm, version LIBQPDF_30 Workaround: The issue is fully resolved by immediately downgrading the QPDF packages to the version prior (12.3.2-1+b1) Thanks, Antonio
