As (one) the maintainer(s) of libbytesize I would prefer a patch that is reviewed by upstream before applying it to the Debian package.

In my previous message I posted the reference to the upstream GitHub repo. Please submit your patch(es) there.

Please retain |fix-python-bsunit.patch| and forward it upstream, since current upstream still declares |BSUnit| as |ctypes.c_int| and the mismatch causes the PowerPC crash reported in #1115070.
