Hello, Attached is a debdiff fixing this.
Instead of creating a new patch for a Hickory 0.26 port, I should have checked upstream for a commit to cherry-pick instead; there is one, and it works better. My mistake. I tested this in a Debian Forky/Sid VM with an LXQt environment. I was able to both confirm the regression, and the fact that the attached debdiff fixes it.
