Sorry again for my silence. Yes, I am back from debconf since several weeks. I have tried but am too low on disk space to even clone your repo https://salsa.debian.org/Junyong-Liang/hx-grammars - evidently it needs more than 1.7 GB to do a shallow clone, which is scary to me: All that code auto-fetched from tens if not hundreds of different sources - I have a very hard time viewing myself as co-maintainer of that, because I cannot claim to truly *maintain* it to any sensible degree. I am not saying that your work is bad. Not at all - I think it is quite interesting the challenge you have taken and dealt with. What I am saying is that I am not familiar with this type of code maintenance. Perhaps more sensible to use https://mentors.debian.net/ to get guidance from others in Debian that might be more familiar with this type of "firehose maintenance". Concretely I guess your package is functionally ready to release, I just don't think that I can take responsibility to be the uploader of it. I would be happy to co-maintain a much smaller subset. So small that it would be possible to sift through upstream git commit when code is updated, and maybe disagree with some parts or cherry-pick some parts lingering in unreleased branches that we consider important for our system integration. But that is a very different approach than the one you have prepared, and I imagine that would not be exciting for you to work that way, so I encourage you to try the mentoring website. - Jonas -- * Jonas Smedegaard - idealist & Internet-arkitekt * Tlf.: +45 40843136 Website: http://dr.jones.dk/ * Sponsorship: https://ko-fi.com/drjones [x] quote me freely [ ] ask before reusing [ ] keep private
