Okay, I decided to just repack without the problematic *.h files, swapping in the non-problematic more recent ones.
I've uploaded 8.1.6+dfsg2-1 to unstable instead of experimental because there's an FTBFS due to Python2-vs-3 bit rot in the 7.x version currently in the archive which is fixed in 8.1.6. Cheers, --Barak.
