The golang-github-ngaut-sync2 package ship upstream code from 2014 and appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-ngaut-sync2 The upstream project has not seen any git commit in the last 12 years: https://github.com/ngaut/sync2 This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
