Package: pbzip2
Version: 1.1.13-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Pbzip2's ./debian/copyright file incorrectly states that pbzip2 is licensed
under BSD-4-Clause.

The actual license is found in ./COPYING. Although this license also has 4
numbered clauses,
it is not BSD-4-Clause but a variant of the bzip2-1.0.6 license with SPDX
identifier "bzip2-1.0.6", see
<https://spdx.org/licenses/bzip2-1.0.6.html>.

./Debian/copyright additionally states that files ./Debian/* are BSD-4-Clause.
Perhaps the
maintainers could be convinced to re-license their changes under
"pbzip2-1.1.13", as
BSD-4-Clause has an acknowledgement obligation onerous in commercial
settings.

Please find below a corrected ./debian/copyright:
