I don't currently have a call site for gbp-config, but there's a place
I'd *like* to call it: in git-debpush and git-deborig. Both of these
tools currently have to guess the tag name without assistance from the
gbp config.

Those packages are lightweight and don't have many dependencies.
Making them depend on git-buildpackage.deb would pull in a lot of
stuff, which is why currently this doesn't work as well as it could.
So a separate .deb from the gbp source package would be very welcome.

I don't think I would know how to do the necessary surgery in the gbp
repo.
