Package: keepassxc-full
Version: 2.7.10+dfsg1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
When the currently opened database is on an SSHFS Fuse filesystem, the
keepassxc process fails to suspend when the device goes to sleep. The
process hangs for twenty seconds before being forced to suspend, as
indicated by the included dmesg log. Do note the information from the
WiFi interface (a RTL8821CE chip). It sleeps when the lid closes, so
obviously the filesystem would not very responsive when keepassxc is
trying to suspend.
This bug affects my personal laptop, a HP Pavilion 15. When I close the
lid, the screen and fan remain on indefinitely. Upon opening the lid,
the entire system is unresponsive for 20+ seconds. This behavior only
occurs when keepassxc is running with my database unlocked. This bug is
quite annoying and may not be reproducible, so I am willing to help with
testing any solutions/patches.
