The issue has been addressed a while back in debian-edu-doc and was neither caused by autopkgtest nor by debian-edu-doc.
The triggering bug in debian-edu-doc might have been fixed, but the issue in autopkgtest is still present and needs to be fixed there.

I don't know how it could as you say the issue on its side has been fixed.But, asking a question: why are you asking (I have a suspicion but I'd like to hear first)?
