This package containsupstream code (orig.tar) from 2024-09-27 and
appears unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian
unstable, see dak output at the end of this e-mail.

https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-mitchellh-pointerstructure

The upstream project is archived:

https://github.com/mitchellh/pointerstructure

According to the ITP of this package, it was needed for 'bettercap' but
as far as I can tell, that package has migrated away from this archived
project.

This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused
golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated
with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely
rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is
ever any future need for it. Meanwhile, I don't think it is useful to
keep this package in Debian.
