The golang-github-xanzy-go-gitlab package is unmaintained. It has no reverse dependencies in Debian. https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-xanzy-go-gitlab The upstream project is archived: https://github.com/xanzy/go-gitlab This package, github.com/xanzy/go-gitlab, has been moved to gitlab.com/gitlab-org/api/client-go. The upstream project changed go.mod namespace, so if needed should be packaged under a separate debian source package name. The 'trufflehog' package upstream has replaced this package with the new project in a later upstream version, and 'trufflehog' is not in testing. This removal request is part of a larger batch to remove 100+ unused golang-*-dev packages from Debian. I believe the QA cost associated with keeping all of them is larger than the cost of (hopefully extremely rare) re-introduction of any accidentally removed package if there is ever any future need for it.
