I'll make a team upload. However, note that NMUs which are also a "new upstream release" are troublesome, as the archive scripts do not allow a team upload containing the same .orig.tar.gz already in delayed/2, and this usually forces the real maintainer to either cancel the NMU or ask the NMUer to cancel it, which is an additional burden.
