In a UKWM (X11) session, enabling Settings -> Theme -> Window Effects -> “Effects mode” causes the calendar popup window to show ghosting and residual rendering artifacts. Steps to reproduce: 1. Log into a UKWM (X11) session. 2. Enable “Effects mode” in Settings -> Theme -> Window Effects. 3. Open the calendar popup. 4. Move, scroll, or refocus the window. Actual result: The calendar window shows ghosting and residual artifacts. Expected result: The window should render normally with effects enabled. Disabling “Effects mode” restores normal rendering. The issue occurs because the calendar window uses a translucent background, but the UKWM compositor does not provide the blur support expected by the application.
