This now has a consequence that was not possible when the report was filed. systemd v243 added OOMPolicy= with DefaultOOMPolicy=stop, so a kernel OOM kill of the forked dhclient stops ifup@<iface>.service and runs ExecStop=/sbin/ifdown, deconfiguring a healthy interface. Filed with logs and version details as #1147284.
