Is that just #1146750 in meson-python? The patch you provided for that bug is uploaded to unstable and your notes in #1146750 say that the relevant patch is applied in the sandbox, but the version reported in the refnx workspace log looks like the unfixed version that was previously in unstable.
Also matplotlib complains that it can't use DISPLAY when running the tests.
I don't see that locally or on the Debian buildd, and the dependency on python3-pytest-xvfb should take care of that. I couldn't spot that output in the linked logs because it FTBFS before it gets to the tests - is there a newer run with that output somewhere? I'm curious if that was only with Python 3.15 or with Python 3.14 as well.
