Hi, thanks for your analysis, I will remove the dependency on opencv.
Opencv is used to find the location of windows using screenshots, so, when there is a fast universal screenshot api in wayland, xsnow can collect snow on windows, even in wayland. This is an experimental feature which can be re-enabled in the next version of xsnow by adding '--enable-screenshots' to ./configure. Willem
